Back to Back Shelving System
The back-to-back racking system, also known as the "back-to-back" racking system or heavy-duty racking system, is the most widely used warehouse racking system suitable for storing all types of products. The clawed structure of the horizontal beams (traverses) used in the back-to-back racking system allows for easy adjustment of the levels according to the height of the products to be stacked. In this system, pallet storage and order preparation can be carried out simultaneously.
The placement and height of the shelves are determined by the characteristics of the products to be stored, the forklifts to be used and the warehouse area.
