Push Back Shelving System
Push-back shelving is a system that offers high-density storage, allowing for deep storage, just like the walk-in shelving system.
Since the loading and unloading of pallets are done from the same direction, the LIFO (last in, first out) principle is applied in this system.
The push-back system is available in two different options: roller and sled. The roller option can load up to nine pallets deep, while the sled option can load up to six.
With the roller option, after the first pallet is loaded into the system, the next pallet is pushed back onto the rollers in the loaded position using a forklift fork to store it. Each pallet pushes the other pallet onto the rollers, settling into the depth of the system. During unloading, when the frontmost pallet is removed, gravity pulls the pallet behind it into the unloading position.
In the sled system, specially designed sleds are used instead of rollers, and the process is carried out by placing the pallets on these sleds.
